JUDO:
Best described as a form of wrestling that utilizes dynamic throws, pins, arm-locks, and chokes.  An Olympic sport since 1964, Judo is also an excellent form of self defense. In our class, we emphasize camaraderie, physical conditioning, discipline, and development of inner self.

- Dedicated classes for children (children are not taught arm-locks and chokes)
 - Level of physical contact: HIGH

KARATE:
Basic stretching and strengthening exercises, punching, kicking, striking, blocking, self-defense moves and traditional kata (dance form) are taught. Beginners are taught step by step by black belt instructors who provide individual attention while progressing at their own rate and building good physical condition. Advanced students may participate in sparring (free fighting) with protective facemask  and other protective gear.

 - Level of physical contact: LOW

AIKI JUJUTSU / AIKIDO:
This class begins with slow stretching and other exercises to warm up. Following activities include break falls, throwing techniques, hand and arm manipulation techniques, punching, kicking, elbow striking, knee strikes, and simulated movements, to develop self defense skills.

 - Level of physical contact: Moderate
